about me

For most of my school experience, being in class meant drawing. I have always loved the challenge of telling a story or sharing an experience through art. Additionally, I was raised in a family where summer equaled long road trips. I mean long road trips. That usually meant 4 weeks of cross-country driving a summer, resulting in visiting dozens of national parks, visiting all of the lower 48 minus 2, and gaining a deep appreciation for the outdoors. That appreciation later led to working at Yellowstone National Park in the summer of 1995 (where I met my wife, April), and living for two years in Denver.

I graduated from The University of Georgia in 1998 with a BFA in graphic design. April and I married in 1997, and have three children.
